You Tube Tuesday: Take Eight

In keeping with our Christmas theme, I bring you a very extraordinary girft wrapping job! I am completely amazed by how perfect this furry friend is. A certain fur ball in our house wouldn't last 2 seconds.

It's Beggining to Look A LOT like Christmas...

Christmas time has begun here at Casa Kizziah!! Yay!! I absolutely love Christmas even despite my occasional "Grinch" tendencies surrounding the stress of Christmas shopping, packing, giving final exams, etc. As a newlywed, I am certainly lacking in my Christmas decor and plan on taking full advantage of the post-Holiday ornament sales. However, I did have some left over ornaments from our "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" from last year (see below) and inherited some lovely hand me down decor from my oh-so-fabulous aunt and grandmother. Here is a picture tour of our newlywed Christmas Decor...

Last year's tree...Yes, it's really that little! It's even sitting up on an ottoman!!
This year's tree...

All shiny...

Haven't quite mastered the light shot :(

Aerial Shot...

Look at my beautiful Lenox Christmas china! I just love it! My grandmother started buying it for all the granddaughters ever year since we were around 7! So glad and thankful to have it now! Love you Pegasus!!

Christmas at our casa wouldn't be complete without a "theme" tree, and no theme would do other than John Deere and UGA!!

Please excuse the cords :(
And a Christmas Macy!!!

Ornaments Everywhere...

Little Red trees...

And Some Coordinating Wreaths...

Guess that is it! Merry Christmas!!

That's What He Said...

I have decided to start a new series on this here blog, dedicated 100% to the hubs and our fascinating communication skills. "That's what he said" will be postings of all the different Adam-isms that come up on a daily basis and leave me wondering if we speak the same language. Like literally. We are both speaking English, right? His love of all things farming, his Mississippi upbringing, and his general "country boy" personality produce some rather interesting phrases which I swear he has invented himself may help you to understand my world just a little bit better.

Up first...

Fair to Midly (mid-lee): Adverb, Adjective

1. somewhere in the middle
2. Mediocre

Context:
Me: "How did you do on the job today, honey?"
Adam: "Fair to Midly. "
